They lift the Contour the same was as my DF, four points from the eyes on the inner aka hinges.
No hull straps.

Still learning here. I had seen pics of a C34 on a trailer like this one and that is why I thought they were non hinging. It's a pretty cool boat and well thought out.

Tri's or Cat's?

Very cool boat. Big floats. Wouldn't worry going offshore at all. Would be a great Mexico boat! But, you gotta have the minimalist camping attitude.

Sand Crab,

Take a look at that photo.
Zoom it a bunch and you will see the amas have been dismounted, but the akas are folded.
