Ok. Apart from that, you write it Graz without the "t"
After signing Contract at the Boatshow, we have had a clause that the Contract will only be closed after a satisfaying Testsail. So there we were on a cold but sunny February morning at La Grande Motte. Ready to embark an Outremer 5X, with a good northerly Blow.
To make a long story short, the Boat did very well under all circumstances. Wind up til 25 Knots. The Boat was reaching under Jib and Mainsail, we did easaliy 15 Knots, close hauled -top speed was over 10 Kn. Tacking was a pleasure, no matter which was Daggerboard down. The 5X is a real Pleasure to sail, and we always felt very safe.
So we were impressed and that is how it started.
Another Point:
We signed in 3 Days ago for the World ARC

They are special boats, I did the Outremer Cup a few years ago and had a ball sailing the 5X and the 51
