Tiller bar connection

Hi, can anyone help me. I’ve built a Whitehaven catamaran with timber horizontally curved tillers which are positioned inwards 6 degrees together and are connected with a alloy tube with flat horizontal plates either end that have a 16 mm hole to accept a brass sleeve with 16 mmOD and 10mm ID as I am using a simple 10 mm bolt as the pivot. The plans give little info and I need to know how to connect this to the tillers via some form of metal bracket. I would be very appreciated of any photos to help me in the correct method.Thanks.
