I like to keep my foredeck clear for good airflow around the genoa and for ease of tacking; anything up there is going to get tangled in the sheets.

You might want to consider making room for extra toys somewhere aft. Admiral Yachts and Maine Cat have both used boom extensions with a halyard to lift dinghies onto rigid storage racks. The same could work to lift something heavy off a dock alond side (or from a dock astern) onto Or into an aft compartment. I would use it just to get a folding motorbike on board.
