Hello Fransw, I transferred this thread from classifieds as it may be of interest to others. Well the replacement for the Helia 44 is the Elba 45, landed in Australia with all the boxes ticked is around around the $1.3M in Australian dollars, problem is our dollar ain't worth much these days. So no you can't buy one for that money brand new in fact I don't think FP still make them, the Elba 45 is the replacement as I understand. It is not so much the cost, I prefer the layout of the Helia 44 to the new Elba 45. Having said that, I think your Country's Leopard 45 and the 40 have a lot of of appeal, and I think they look to be very well made I have not sailed one though so can't comment on that aspect. Not sure what the cost is landed here in Melbourne, looking in to that at the moment. I note the Leopard 45 is having a upgrade next year with seating on the upper deck, they call it the 'Hardtop Lounge' complete with a table etc. the big three seem to be trying to out do each other with this new trend. I note the big Leopard 50 can be brought with the upper lounge or without I would prefer the without version.
