Are there any Derek Kelsall's about ?

Having a Kelsall 46 i am wondering if there are any folks who also own Kelsall yachts. Speaking of roomy i am sure my Kelsall is in no way less than any other 46! Would be nice though if one could chat!

There are a few of us here on CF. Do a search and you will find the Kelsall thread.
We have a Suncat 40', currently in Panama preparing to transit the canal to the Pacific. Where are you?

There's a mob selling Kelsall designs out of Peru. If you do a search on catamarans.com you'll see them.

When we were in Portobelo, Panama, last week there were 3 Kelsall cats and 1 Kelsall tri anchored there in the same bay. They are out there but just not as many as the FPs, Lagoons, etc.

I am fortunate and very priviledged to be able to say that i am corresponding with Derek Kelsall and i can vouch for him being a very friendly and knowledgeable man. His 70 years of age does not seem to slow hom down.

We are in Panama, about to transit the canal. Might be easier if you catch up to us!

Re: Are there any Derek Kelsall's about?

I'd like to but Popeye"s Tanjera is going to take about 6 to eight months to rebuilt so hanging out in Panama might not be a good idea.

At the club there is a whole bunch of nice guys and we will make you feel at home, that is a promise! And just to spice the invite somewhat i'l treat you to a tradissional South African cuisine! Still think Panama is nice?

Ok, Niel! We will see you there in about 2019!

If you are not there and you catch up to us, it is my shout at whichever little island bar is closest or onboard the good Kelsall cat Pincoya!
