A Nice Sunday Sail

Here are 2 videos that settles the debate for me:

UnCut Video - Now Playing "The Fabulous GunBoat 62 Sailboat"

Conclusion

I was debating whether I would want to sell my iron hulled monohull and my cedar hulled trimaran and buy a huge cat to sail.

And the conclusion is....................wait for it...............YES!

The only problem is I cannot afford any thing more expensive than what I have.

So I will be happy with the status quo and leave the ponderance of that dilemma to people who quote Einstein.

Ah, now I see. And my hat's off to anyone who quotes Mae West!

(Now, as to the other dilemma - Was Mae West actually a man in drag? - well, I have my opinion . . . I'd love to hear your's!)

I have not considered that possibility.
Not a pleasant mental image though.
Kinda like seeing J. Edgar Hoover in a dress.

Oh Yeah,
I was just wondering if you were looking for a Cat in the 35' to 40' range, or if you were buying a particular cat and weren't sure of its length?

Good luck either way.

I bought my tri in Va. and have to move there to fix it up and get it in the water for the fall.

Thumbs up Good one, roblanford . . .

I am actually having the survey performed this coming week on the vessel I will most likely buy. If something should go awry with that boat, however, there is a very nice runner-up candidate down in de ilans, mon.

To be honest, I'd probably prefer that one, which is 38', but for the $70-80k additional cost, I could cruise for two or three years on the 35'er. And if neither one of them is the one I buy, well, I'll keep looking in the 35-40' range.

Just have to be a little bit patient.

It has been said

Its better to go sooner than later. I have been putting off cruising for more years than I would like to admit. Always trying to do the better boat thing. I finally got fed up and went for a boat that I can go out on THIS season instead of the Dream boat. I would like to hear back about your progress.
