WE DID IT!!!

Well, I'm holding a copy of the bill of sale in my hand. Holy Cow!! We closed on our "new' boat. We are the proud new owners of Jubilee, a pearson 424 cutter ("C" plan). Can't wait to go pick her up and sail her home. Unfortunately mother nature has decided that she might have different plans for us. Stupid Bertha. The boat is in Oriental, NC and we have to get it back to Massachusetts. And the adventure begins...

Thanks we're very excited.

Gord the Pearson 424 site is where we found her for sale. We've been looking at the Pearsons for a long time now and the site has a some useful information and some helpful owners. That's the youtube video we looked at when we first saw her go up for sale. The video doesn't lie. She really is something.

Super nice boat...........!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations..........!!!! I also have a Pearson. Not as big as the one you just got, but I water her a few times a week and maybe some day she will grow.
Anyways, they made quality boats as I am sure you know. We have put the boat through a lot of different situations over the last 4-5 years and she still amazes me. Wouldn't mind running a 424 though..........she really looks nice.............Congratulations once again.....

So funny... my dad's boat, a Cal 20, is named Sopwith Camel. (Go Snoopy!) And its sister boat is called Red Baron.
