Trouble with st 60 Speed Instrument

I recently bought a Raymarine st 60 speed instrument on ebay (not a plus) It was a dealer display and appears to have never been used except as a display. My problem is that I can not get it to toggle out of repeater mode. The downloaded manual does not precisely tell you how this can be done. I have tried using the intermediate calibration mode but it will not toggle between repeater and master. I can toggle changes in other areas like user calibration and dealer calibration. I can also temporarily get master mode if I use factory reset.
For some reason it will not stay locked in. I have software version 3.02. This unit seems to operate a little differently than the 2.0 version the manual was written for. If you know the key to changing into master mode I greatly would appreciate the help.

GordMay

Thank you for your help. I could not find Raymarine's phone number anywhere on the net. After contacting them I did find out that if the temperature transducer is not working the st 60 speed instrument will automatically go into the repeater mode. (nowhere in the manual does it say this!!) Also you can test the temperature mode by measuring the resistance of the white and brown wires of the temperature sensor. At about seventy degrees it should read about 10K ohms. (Again this information is no where to be found in the manual!!) I hope this information will help someone else.
