Pearson 32. 3 Upgrade

I have a 1977 Pearson 32.3 that is for the most part as when sold. Atomic gas engine replaced with a Yanmar diesel about 10 years ago. Sails well but thinking making life more pleasant on her.

Any thoughts about where to start. Thinking about a 5 year plan to do an upgrade to make her more friendly to sail.

Still has hanked on jib.

Thoughts about starting with roller furling and lazy jacks, maybe a/c for more pleasant sailing for the smaller crew in the family.

Any thoughts or direction?

Great boat! Where do you sail? day sails, coastal cruising?
roller furling and lazy jacks,
if you are going with a/c you need to look at your electric system/batteries/alternator/regulator/chrarger
chartplotter! vhf with ais

Re: Pearson 32. 3 Upgrade

Thanks for the welcome. Have been scanning CF for a couple years now and appreciate the community.

Day sailing with the hope to do some coastal cruising.

Had considered the electrical system in the a/c plan. Have asked myself should I do a total rewire since the boat is 35 yrs old. Looking at going LED also.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Bill
