This sounds like a total loss.. Just posted it for interest..

The sleek Dufour 45 E Performance stretches out elegantly and powerfully, leaving its playmates far astern. The boat suffered some damages in the past few years, such as; getting hung up on a reef and floating off with the next high tide, the hull was pushed into a dock by high winds, While motoring thru
a canal, the keel hit some rocks along the canal bottom While motoring thru a canal.

Damage to the boats' lower rudder section was discovered in early September 2015, when the boat was hauled for manufacturers' warranted repairs. When it was attempted to block the boat via normal methods, deflection in the hull bottom was observed.

Investigation, by lifting floor boards, found fractures in the interior hull liner/grid system.
The ballast keel forefront indicated past normal grounding occurrences and an anchor chain wrap.
The rigging and keel are in storage at the same yard as the boat.
