Nope, 2 rings and a oven means cooking properly . Although you may not want to if your in the tropics because it gets kind of hot on board.

BBQ on the stern rail is popular.

Do get a cooker if you are living on board, no reason to just rough it, you are not camping but living.

We a primarily weekend warriors except for vacations when we go full time. Most times we eat on the boat at least two meals a day. If we are near a decent port we may go grab a nice dinner or some such.

We keep a nice cooktop and have a BBQ on the stern pulpit. We also keep a 5 gallon water cooler of ice water for drinking and food prep. When we go full time a 12v fridge and water maker will be added but for now it is a water cooler and wheeled cooler. We use the boats ice chest for dry storage.

Have you considered a Pearson 323? A heavy boat for its size, conservative sail plan (sa/d under 14), hot and cold pressure water, and a shower in the head. Also, many came with 80 gallons of water cap. A few for sale under 20k on yachtworld, with one sad fellow damaged by sandy under 10k. Oh, did I mention the stripper pole?
