Approximately 650 nautical mile trip to Isla Mujeres. Time at sea will be 75 to 85 hours based on past recorded speeds that average 8.25 knots. Boat will remain docked or anchored at Isla Mujeres for the Winter. Crew is welcome to stay aboard for an additional week or two, perhaps longer. Boat will continue to Guatemala in the late Spring 2018.
Provisions: Owner will provide all food during the voyage, and bed and bath linens. Once anchored/docked at Isla food costs will be shared. Owner is responsible for all boat operating costs, dockage or mooring fees, and vessel entry costs.
Crew Responsibility: Transportation to and from the boat, all costs for their entry/exit from Mexico, personal items, beer wine or liquor, and a share of food costs while aboard at Isla, and any and all expenses incurred on land.

Re: Texas to Isla - November 2017

Departure Update.
Repairs/maintenance completed except for bottom cleaning and anode replacement which will happen next week.
Need to fill tanks, check the stores, and defrost the fridge/freezer before staging to Galveston Yacht Basin to wait for the next cold front to pass.
Anticipate a departure date around Saturday 11/18.
Still need one or two to fill out the crew.
