Crew Wanted: A New Adventure

Yesterday I bought a 1970 Morgan Cruising Ketch in Biloxi, MS. I plan to spend a few days to a week here repairing and provisioning the boat to sail then I will make my shakedown cruise my first passage to Houston, TX with the help of a friend. I will spend another couple of weeks there fixing everything I find on the shakedown cruise and then I plan on sailing to the Caribbean my exact timing and destination is flexible.



You should know I am a new owner and this will be my fist time doing practically everything. I am not experienced. For this reason I would greatly appreciate you having sailing experience. What I can offer is I am a calm even tempered good nature person that is easy to get along with. I am what a person might call a poor budget sailor but I'll not have any luxury you do not and you can have your choice of sleeping arrangements aboard the vessel after Houston. I can provide food and other basic necessities while you're aboard but Ideally you would have a small residual income for spending money ashore.
