How and when to cruise Mexico

As with everything cruising; your plans should be made in the sand at low tide. That said, the Baja HA-Ha as been doing this, at the same time of year, for 15 years. With an average of 125 boats and 4 people per boat that a whole lot of people that have never lost a boat. I always try to comment on real world facts that I know personally, from the area I am cruising in.

haha doesnt stop in san quintin as the entrance is very iffy---is only 4-6ft deep in high tide last i heard--only a couple of years ago--a friends boat was stuck there a few years and may just still be there....goood luck--is fine for multihulls and shallow depth boats but deep water cruisers need to plan for deeper entrances--
