Importing a Boat into Australia

I'm planning to bring my boat into Australia and pay the duty/tax on it. I understand I have to get a valuation from some official valuer and I'm looking for recommendations from anyone who has done this before and got an "good" valuation of their boat.

Any recommendations on "owner friendly" valuers between Cairns and Port Macquarie would be good.

There is a long thread in the Multihulls forum on this site.

How long have you owned the boat?

He may have asked it somewhere in another thread but he has not started another thread on this subject as far as I can see. So all is well.
