U.K. Import

Hi, has anyone brought their cruiser back from outside the EU to U.K. Using the new Transfer of Residence procedures?

CF member"goboatingnow" was our resident expert on this subject,i have not heard from him in a while on the forum, but perhaps search some threads by him,or try send him a PM.

we elected to pay vat in cyprus at a very low rate on our boat before returning to the uk.

we looked at bringing it back as a personal possesion, but the criteria was fairly specific for non res expats, working overseas, not your run of the mill long term non resident,no fixed abode yachty bringing a yacht back that was bought overseas.
