Hi Ed, your latest thread and wonderful video reminded me that I forgotten to follow up on our last exchange. My father’s people (apparently) beckon originally from the Bay Bulls area, but have been in St. John’s for at least the last three generations, maybe longer. One of my many cousins owns O’Reilly’s Pub — although I have yet to meet her.

I’m currently hanging out in Corner Brook, but hope to sail some of the south coast this season. Perhaps I’ll see you out there. And thanks for the video reminders of why we’re in NFLD. I’ll have to start re-reading my Farley.
