I'd second the idea of visiting Ikea....

.......and not just for lamps.

The stainless accessories, hooks, glass holders, wire shower trays etc we've added to the heads all came from Ikea and after 12 months use still look as good as new.

We also struggled orginally to find a neat and modern way to subdivide galley lockers to stop cans / bottles etc moving.
Ikea sold plastic extrusions made just for this purpose in domestic cupboards. About $10 for 50 such items. Perfect.

Finally, good quality stylish plastic glasses etc were only a fraction of similar Guzzini items............so in terms of good value with style, Ikea gets my vote also.

They just opened a new one outside Boston. The traffic jam was so bad they closed exits off the highway. Last time we went down to check boat on weekend it was almost as bad. It may be a while before we check it out.

I know how to get into an ‘Ikea’ store, but can anyone advise me how to get out?
I’m amazed that they can get building permits for their floorplans.

How long has it been since you have checked up on the traffic situation there outside Boston?

When did they open up a store there?

Sonofason
