Florida east coast Boating Clubs

I will be new to the area of Daytona Florida. In two weeks I will be moving and want to join a boating/sailing club.

I am not really into to formal dinners and gatherings but will work and clean up areas as assigned. I will show up for work days.

I have a few questions.

1. Are there any good clubs to join in the Daytona area?

2. And when I join what should I expect.

I know it will take time to get into a click but I usually do ok and make friends semi-easy.
