Finding crew in the Med?

Ok need some help from the community here.
I intent to purchase a boat in the Med this year and will initially be unaccompanied. I would like to hear from people who actually have first hand experience just how difficult or otherwise it is to find competent crew (in the Med) and what are the best resources for obtaining such?
I've sailed the East Coast of Australia single handed in a C&C 36 but the boat I’m considering is a Formosa 41 which I anticipate will be more of a handful than the C&C not least of which when docking (being a full length keel).

For sure in the Med.. stern to and either marina bow mooring lines or using your hook in Greece..
Can be done solo once you know your boat
