Critical Dimensions for Cruising

What are the critical dimensions for world cruising?
What I mean is, Draft, air draft, beam and lengths for different areas.
e.g. Inter Coastal Waterway 60-65 ft air draft.
I am looking for different European and American canals.

Also If there is a maximum practical size in certain marinas.

I have heard that if your yacht is longer than 65ft on the Panama canal, then you need a pilot instead of an adviser which will cost a lot more.
These are the type of things I am looking for.

Thanks

I am no expert but just my observation, it seems a boat in the 39-42' is most popular

Re: Critical dimentions for cruising

Thanks for the feedback.
What I am looking for is something like East coast of England 4.5foot draft in marinas. Or no marinas can take boats bigger that 45 feet. Or bigger than 50 feet in the Med. the price doubles.
Please note these are just examples and not actual facts.
