Last overnight sailing in the Caribbean

The good thing about such losses is that they keep reminding you of the limited amount of "dry land" you have - so far I haven't fallen overboard
yet. Although - have to admit that I jumped once. We were filling up the fuel tank
at the end of our charter
, and I used the time to get the lines ready. At the captain's office they had given me two cards - one for the toilets, which was free, and one for the electricity, which was € 40. Well, I had stuck them in my breast pocket, and when I bent over to fix a line they both went. With € 40 on the line I jumped after them and saved one - you can guess which one. I still get taunted by my better half for the fantastic save...
