Positano , Italy

We're planning a trip out of Naples in Sept, and among other places are thinking about going to Positano and Amalfi. Does anyone know whether there is a marina or a seawall at Positano to tie to? Or is it mooring balls and anchors only? Thanks so much, Kim

Re: Positano, Italy

Hi Kim,

the last time we have been there I was not yet into to boating, so cannot remember if there was a marina, but, from my pictures there are moorings in Positano and Amalfi.

Is a wonderful place to go. We loved it.

Enjoy your trip

its mooring buoys and anchor at Positano but there is a sea wall at Amalfi. Might be shallow draft there though.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Kim.

It looks like you anchor/moor off the beach.

To anchor it is very deep, best to have someone on board at all times. Moorings are expensive and the marina at Almalfi - say no more!
