Foreign Vessels
We would like to know if anyone knows if foreign vessels left in the State of New York are subject to taxes.
We are contemplating leaving our boat in the US then heading to Canada for the winter season

I'm neither a tax attorney or admiralty lawyer. Or a lawyer in any manner.

I work on a foreign flagged vessel currently tied to the dock in Ft. Lauderdale. We've been here about 2 years and have not had a problem with any tax folks.
