A project

Hey sailors, I'm looking for anything rundown, a bargain... a fix her upper, the cheaper the better but good engine is worth its weight right?

I know boats for free, motorboats mostly but those cost money... I've seen pure mahogany boats, handcarved go for free...

But I need a boat, so anything under the price range of 5000$, you got it, send me a link and I'll look into it. it does not matter if the engine is stuck, the sails are ripped, or the vessel got holes in it, if you want to get rid let me know.

Re: A project

Welcome aboard you two. If you are a FB'er, there is a group called "Champagne Boating on a beer budget", there are routinely projects and cheap boats on there. Heck, my last post was a Bristol 40 which was listed for $2,000. Yes you read that right, 2 grand. Deals exist, but be wary of true money pits that will sink your boat fund.

Well how about a 43' Ketch, Diesel , heavy layup center cockpit. assume Taiwan. Winterized and left in the boat yard 8 years ago. All equipment is there. Location Albany NY. Rigged with SS and aluminum spars , no sails.
Price $5,000 and includes launching.
