First rule of boat pics is to hide the ashtray. This is a 44'cat that could be a decent buy.

#2 - the candle. Dead giveaway of cover-up attempt.
#3 - the Kleenex. Sickness about.
#4 - other junk. All of it.

Now, lets see what is under the settee.

Regarding smoking, this boats been for sale forever and perhaps the roof panels have discoloured naturally, but the "modified" no smoking sign might suggest otherwise??

What's really scary is that they probably cleaned up for the photos!

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Noticed on eBay.

Picture quality is good. The text is says a lot.

I designed this boat myself to be more stable , complete in2003. 13.4 Then had to make yearly material improvement to keep in good repair.
Would like 3000. It is trailerable and all parts are in working order . When you can say a sailboat is in this shape

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and that picture speaks volumes. Is that really a joint on the mast right above the "support"?

This boat reminds me of the rafts I used to build in the canal behind our house when I was nine years old.

This one is out in the derelict portion of the local mooring field. When the cockpit looks like this, you know you are in for a treat belowdecks.

Reminds me of when my high school buddy's parents went away for a week and left the place unsupervised.

Nice eyeglass collection there. Reminds me of Fred Sanford and his drawer full of reading glasses. "I'm coming to join you Elizabeth"

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

This is a favorite of mine. This boat has apparently been on dry land for years.

I'm pretty good at fixing things but I'm pretty sure whatever that sludge that has flooded the bilge to the top and seems to be in the engine compartment is will win the battle.
