Solar Panel Suppliers

Anybody tried this outfit Sun Electronics - Lowest Prices in Solar Panels, Kits, Inverters Sun Electronics?
My bride saw them recommended about on the Face Book.

I'm looking to build up a system on my boat so maybe we could make a list of our favorite or not so favorite suppliers sort of a "Deal Or Dud" thread.

What say you.

Re: Solar Panel Suppliers

At first glance they aren't selling top of the line products; worth more investigation but we prefer to work with highly known producers (Kyrocera, Sharp, Solbian, Solara, SunPower, etc)

Re: Solar Panel Suppliers

Interesting web site , plus phone numbers . I'm just getting into solar , and it is working out really well for us . We don't have any big Ah draws ( no reefer ) so our set up is simple and only cost us about $ 300 . It consists of this...

OK here are the companies I use for customers
Rigid panels I use either renogy or windy nation . For flex panels I prefer to use HQst .

Re: Solar Panel Suppliers

I spoke with Lewis yesterday about their deal on Suniva 330-C01-SW, 330 watt grade "C" for $159 thats hard to beat. Grade "C" has cosmetic imperfections but performs as it should, they have no warranty but are tested before shipment. You can get the Grade "B" for $228 that has a warranty.

I'm going to have to check on the warranty thing because looking back at the website it says:

" SUNIVA MODULES IN STOCK AT SUN ELECTRONICS' WAREHOUSES

ALL MODULES HAVE 25 YEAR WARRANTY AND UL CERTIFICATION*
*GRADE C MODULES DO NOT HAVE UL CERTIFICATION, BUT COME WITH OUR 25 YEAR WARRANTY.

*GRADE B MODULES HAVE COSMETIC IMPERFECTIONS AND FACTORY BLEMISHES."

So who knows?
Lewis also said they were working on a new website.
They are also moving into a new building so things are changing around there.
