Fuel gauge sender query

Hi,

I have mechanical senders in my diesel tanks. They are horribly inaccurate and so I generally rely on engine hours to calculate fuel needs.

Can anyone recommend a non-mechanical sender?

Look at New Prividence Marine systems. They consists of two aluminium stripes glued on the outside of the tanks. Level is calculated based on impedance/frequency, what do I know. I have been using it for the last 10 years, boat is from 2005. No problems
