Are you sailing UK > Med March/April 2014?

Hi All,

I am looking to find a boat to sail from the UK down to the Med in March/April 2014.

I am an engineer by trade and am hoping to start a career as an onboard engineer down in the Mediterranean! And what better way to get there than to sail

I have been sailing this summer on a 40ft Elan, and have learned the basics. I am a very keen self motivated learner, so what I don't know I will hopefully pick up very soon. I am hoping to have achieved the RYA Day Skipper by this time too.

I'm not looking for a specific boat, just something that will get us there safely, be it privately owned or a delivery. Any destination in the Med considered, although ideally I would end up in either Antibes or Palma. I can join the boat in Devon, or travel to a southcoast port if you require.

I'm looking for an unpaid position and can only contribute my means of my sailing ability. Although, if you require, I may be able to contribute towards food, but not running costs.

If you think you can help me out then please get in touch!!
aidan_burridge@hotmail.co.uk.

If you need more than one, I have an ex-navy friend looking to do the same!

Thanks,
Aidan

Aidan
I have a small gaff cutter sailing boat which I compleatly restored in Porthleven Cornwall, I sailed her from Falmouth to La Coruna NW spain singlehanded. I am looking for a crew member to sail down to the med around the end of may. If you are interested in joining me for this passage I will be pleased to here from you. Your only expence will be a Ryan air ticket to La Coruna; about £50 pounds, I imagen. I hope this will be of help to you. Best wishes,
Ian.

Thanks 'boatman61'!!

Ian, thanks for the offer, unfortunately I would like to be in the med in April so I don't miss out on the 'dockwalking' 'season'. Thanks for the offer though, and all the best with your trip.

Aidan.
