Crew Available: Advice - How to Hop on a Med Cruise

I plan to be in Spain mid September and will be looking to join a mediterranean cruise for some sailing experience. Im female from Canada with some sailing experience.
some insight would be helpful on the best harbors for boats looking for crew and if approaching a yaught club directly and asking around is the best approach.
