WTB: Raymarine 300 Autohelm or compatible

Hello, anyone have a Raymarine 300 Autohelm or compatible. IE X-30, S3, S3G corepack for sale?
Im using an ST6000+ control head and type two pump. Hoping to avoid dropping big $$ on a new system.

You might contact the following person who may be able to repair your old Course Computer or sell you a refurbed unit.

Very reasonable.

regards,

Major

Re: WTB: Raymarine 300 Autohelm or compatible

I purchased the Type 300 course computer (with control head, heading sensor, rudder position transducer, cables) in late 1997, and replaced everything in Jan 2005 as I was told by the Raymarine dealer in New Zeland that they were not compatible with the C120 MFD and radar scanner that I also purchased in January 2005. (I have a feeling that this isn't totally correct). I have kept all of the original equipment aboard as spares as we were circumnavigating. We have arrived back in USA in April 2012, and we are lightening the boat by disposing of spares that we can now do without. I have an ST-2000 tiller pilot which I can couple to my Hydravane wind steerer if the main autopilot quits.

The type 300 course computer was around $1700 new. I would want to get $600 for it plus shipping at cost. The ST-6000+ control head is $225.

I am in Jacksonville, FL

Thanks Harry and sorry for the late response, I found another 300 computer from Dan at C250@Mydurango.Net

To anyone that needs assistance with your Raymarine autopiloit, contact Dan. He hooked me up with a rebuilt 300 autohelm and was a complete pleasure to work with. Two thumbs up.
Now I only wish I was dealing with an autopilot issue...............Sandy trashed my boat so fiberglass repair is now my new endevour.
