Want To Buy: Sailboat under $1500

hey guys, i am currently looking for my first boat under 1500. dont mind if it needs fixing as long as it floats, no leaks and has sail like the main to go around. and hopefully around the nyc area, not too far as i just learned how to sail. so if any leads thanks

Don't know what size boat you want, but real cheap can cost more to fix up than normal cheap. I used to buy 15 to 20 foot boats on trailers real cheap, sell just the boat for a couple hundred dollars then fix up the trailer for a good profit. Usually those boats were advertised back on the market after their owner gave up all the hard work. Be smart

ah it was just to start off with, something to live aboard for a couple weeks to raise up some money to buy a better boat. and not do major repairs on it just enough to be descent. thanks

thanks for the link, i contacted them already. from the money i spending on rent might as well with something as small, save up and to a bigger one.
