Yes, I think it should be fine with an M802. You might need different cables, but they are around. Offshore Outfitters in San Diego would be able to answer your technical questions and also sell you the cables if you need a different set.

It is a modem and is not radio specific. If you can make or buy the cables, it will work with any transceiver.
