Hi Bristol,
I have the same set up on my boat. Do you like this radio, and would it work for a pacific crossing? I was wondering if it might be outdated. Would love not to have to buy something else.

Hi,

To be honest, I only used once during sea trial of boat. I did speak to Furuno rep at the Miami boat show about replacing and he said that model was a "good one". I do not know about email capabilities or if it can be modified.

Anyone else have any input?
