My boat partnership
ended (somewhat badly) after only a couple of years. The issue was not getting someone who could economically afford a half a boat. I carried his share of fees
for far too long. Never recovered the money

The second thing we did was set up a boat bank account and I used quickbooks pro to set the boat up as a business. The financial records were impeccable clearly documenting his arrears and a second benefit was detailed maintenance
