50/50 on offshore cruiser

Hey,
I'm looking for someone to go in half’s in the purchase of a larger offshore vessel (30 to 35) to cruise to Hawaii and from there down the South American coast and beyond.
I’m 55, male, white, retired, and have been planning this trip for quite a while. It’s time!

If you are interested shoot me a message,
Thanks

I think partnering is a great idea as long as it is set up properly, and even then things can go wrong. Ask me how I know...

My dad partnered in airplanes, a partnership that last some 35+ years until my dad's passing a couple of years ago.

My boat partnership ended (somewhat badly) after only a couple of years. The issue was not getting someone who could economically afford a half a boat. I carried his share of fees and maintenance for far too long. Never recovered the money but I have the boat...

I have a decent partnership agreement - it really helped in the breakup.. If you want to have a look send me a pm with email address.

The second thing we did was set up a boat bank account and I used quickbooks pro to set the boat up as a business. The financial records were impeccable clearly documenting his arrears and a second benefit was detailed maintenance cost records.
