1977 Chrysler 26 $3500 obo

This is my 1977 Chrysler 26 for sale. I have owned her for about five years and have done a lot of work on her. I am looking at buying a bigger boat so I am in need of selling her. She is a great beginner sailboat and is very forgiving if one was to make a mistake. She is the swing keel model and has a draft of 2' 6" with the keel up and 6' 1" with it down. She can be launched from a regular boat launch with the use of the tongue extension. The mast can be stepped solo, but I have always used help. The motor is the original 1977 Chrysler 10hp. I do not know the hours on it, but I do know that it is the best running motor I have ever used. It has electric choke and start and will start with the first flick of the wrist. it does have cockpit controls as well as a stator. It is more of a trickle charger than a charger. I also have a 2006 Mercury 9.9 Bigfoot (electric start, 6 amp stator, four bladed prop) with about 15 min. on it. It is not broken in yet and I would include it for an extra $2000. In 2009 I re-did all the wiring on the boat and added a second battery. There are a few topside leaks (portholes mostly) that can be fixed, but one needs time. There are two soft spots that I am aware of. One in the cockpit and one on the starboard seat. Both these spots are accessible from below.
Some of the included:
Well used main sail with baton slots (no batons), 130 Genoa, main sail cover, three Taylor fenders, West Marine dingy that leaks through the floor and it will hold air in the tubes for about a day and a half, Standard Horizon DSC VHF radio (new 09), Garmin 72 hand held GPS, Flare gun kit, fire extinguisher, Blue Sea Systems electronics (ACR, battery switch spade fuse panel), 19 inch Ring buoy, Magma Kettle grill with mount, SeaLand porta-potty (new in 09), new cushions (homemade in 07), two danforth anchors (one with a chain and two hundred feet of New England Rope anchor line), and some other random things that do not come to mind right now. If there are any questions or if you are in want of more pictures do not hesitate to ask.
