Replacement Waste / Trash Port and Lid

Hi all,

Most Lavezzi owners will know about this or are going to know about it.
That is the replacement of the waste bin lid and port on the galley.
The plastic starts to crack up and looks really bad.
I saw that the new Lagoons have the same part only bigger with the brand name (I think) Boullet on it.
I've done a Google search but had no luck.
Has anyone been able to buy a replacement one?

Re: Replacement Waste / Trash Port and Lid

Hi there
The replacement one is not worth having as the same problem would reoccur . I chose to have a new cover made by our local shipwright in Teak , it looks a lot better and is allowing the weight of the new cover to hold the plastic garbage bag that we use in place .
Cheers

Sounds like a plan, probably just throwing good money after bad, someone suggested using plastic drain pipe. The teak lid would add a nice touch.
