Plumbing Issues

Hi all, I'm just about to install electric heads and a deck wash pump.
Just wondering where is the best place for the deck wash pump, I am thinking the port engine bay near the house batteries.

And the electric head switches, I'm using TMC elect heads which comes with a switch in a box with a fuse.
It needs to be mounted on the side of a surface somewhere, but I can't find a suitable location.
I've seen them fitted to a Lavezzi but I can't recall where there were fitted.

Re: Plumbing Issues

I put my deck wash behind the fridge with the outlet in the anchor locker so that I can also use it to clean the anchor when it comes up. You can plumb it through a Y-valve to the starboard head inlet (maestro version) or to a through hull in the port hull beside the aircon inlet (or Y-valve it to the aircon hose).

It's hooked up to a quick connect garden hose. And has a foot switch in the anchor locker as well as an on-off switch inside.

Our electric head switch is located on the cabinet beneath the lavatory.

Re: Plumbing Issues

Thanks for that the wash pump set up sounds like a good way to go.
Not sure about the lav switch being below the head though?

Re: Plumbing Issues

Lavatory = sink. Below the sink!
