We are Saba 50 Hull #1. Launched and presented at Cannes September 2014. Model only 3.5 years old and still looks incredible against other catamarans.

I am a new Owner, 2015 Saba 50...

In love, as we had the Helia 44, 2013 model, since 2014. Always dreamed of the Saba 50, after looking at all possibilities, all the yachts, all the Manufacturers, with our 45 years of yachting experience we have stuck with Fountaine Pajot and this design. Because of this, I have a few connections, having bought the first Helia 44 in Australia and now the first (and only) Saba 50. I think the Saba is here through next year at least.

The Saona 47 was nice, but not nice enough to warrant the change over. We were also not willing to wait the year and half to get one. So, we gave up, and sold the Helia 44 as my Wife is a bit handicapped needing back surgery, and needed a bench seat backrest sort of larger dinghy. Then the Saba, the only Saba in Oz, was offered to us with a ridiculous level of gear and we just could not say no..

My slip at home is max 50'. We considered the Saona 47 so have watched. Like what, 18 months wait? No thanks.. Anyway, I doubt there would be another 50, too close to the Saona in size.

There is a Leopard 50 coming, again a long wait, very much like Saba. But anyway I have not heard of anything new coming in 50 from F.P.. The range is shifted to smaller than the Helia 44, and a size larger in the Saona. A new one from F.P. would likely be 52-54'..

"Lady Roslyn" Hull number 1, I don't know what hull number we are but the number is FRFPA55011A515...... So guessing, 011 might mean Hull number 11....

Kind regards, yacht SERENITY...
