Load OpenCPN routes to charplotter?

I create routes on my laptop using OpenCPN and then load them into my Garmin 740S. I have to pass them through Homeport which is annoying but at least it works.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to upload OpenCPN routes to B&G chartplotters?

While I can't speak specifically to your plotter, I take routes I create on my home PC and export them in .gpx format which I can 'pull' into my Simrad chartplotter using it's file management system.

Thanks, that's a good indication that it will work with B&G chartplotters even though I can't find any reference to it on their user manual for the Zeus 2.

I came across this with a friend's Garmin 700 and according to the manual it comes with an alternative NMEA183 connection. As I remember this can be connected via a serial/USB converter. You should then be able to receive GPS position on the laptop and upload waypoints.
