I have a bullet mounted on the masthead, and it does not seem to interfere with my VHF or SSB transmissions at all. I also have a tri-color LED on the masthead and it is clearly visible. The wifi antenna is probably an inch thick. In terms of using the bullet, it has been working great. I have been through all sorts of rain storms and so far it seems to be pretty weatherproof.
