Simrads GoFree App on Android devices

I am eventually going to install the GoFree wireless router from simrad on my boat so I can sit in the warmth of the cabin and routeplan.

However I notice it says that the version for phones is 'view only' and only the tablet ones get to set waypoints - has anyone tried with a large phone like a Nexus 6? Those phones are almost the size of tablets, so I was wondering if you'd be able to set waypoints etc

No, it only allows remote control from tablets and not phones, whatever the size.
