How far forward can your Probe see?

I am not keen on mounting instruments as shown in muttskie pic as people are going to want to rest up against that area while healed over at sea and you won't be able to see them, plus uncomfortable and could get damaged. Chartplotter at the helm and wind/depth/speed in console over companionway hatch (forward).... although you have tiller, I am used to wheel. Guest will like to hang out in companionway, tell them that is poor boat etiquette and get out of the way.

Forward sonar would be awesome but not essential, ais is excellent and saves a lot of stress.

Thanks, Giant. Although I'm primarily a single hander, it's a good point. I might want to rest up there.
