I know this is for Raymarine. But since AISpro2 is also used to configure Em-trak devices, I wonder if this aisresetter tool will work on Em-trak.

I know this thread is somewhat old. I am trying to reset the MMSI using the resetting tool and I keep getting "MMSI Reset Failed"
any ideas?
i am using Win10 and just powering the unit via the usb cable. I can talk to and reset the vessel info via ProAIS2 without any issues, I just cannot change the MMSI

Raymarine has all the software on their website. You may need to view their EU version of the site.

I tried to update my AIS 650 from v1.15 to v2.03 via PC and if failed halfway and now my 650 is "bricked". Green led comes on for 1 sec when power on then dark.

I am hoping I can recover it by updating via SD card but in the current version there is no "via SD Card" folder. and V1.15 is not available to download.

I can find the image file 040200_02_03_00 but not the other file called "boootinfo".

Can anyone help please?

There is an .zip file but it does not contain the files needed to update via SD card.

If you unzip it and copy it to a SD card does that work?

Looks like a few large files in the zip and the app, but don't know if this is enough.

Do you have a RM chart plotter like Axiom or Element on the network that can do it for you via wifi?

No that did not work.
I DO have Axiom pro but it seems AIS650 will not update over NMEA2000.
That's why I proceeded to update via PC/USB.

And now after the failed update, its not online on NMEA2000 or USB port.

call raymarine level 2 tech support. if my memory serves me they had to ship me a card to update the unit via SD years ago.

I spent many hours on support over both telephone and e-mail with Raymarine in two different countries trying to get these files but there was getting nowhere.

Finally found one guy on Raymarine facebook group that had the files from 2.02 that is now missing in 2.03.

Should note also you have to press the hard on the SD card in to the unit to get goo contact, like really firm.

So now my AIS 650 is working again, great.
