Need a Marine Electrician in Ft. Lauderdale

Our boat suffered a lightning hit recently. There will be a lot of electrical work needing to be done, as our Mastervolt inverter panel, main panel, generator panel, as well as the electronics onboard all are affected. Anyone out there that can recommend a reliable firm or electrician in Ft. Lauderdale?

I have to get two quotes from companies for repair work. Is it standard in the industry to charge the client for doing the estimate?

Thanks for any help/information.

Try Andres of Southern Cross at 786-290-0159, office at Lauderdale Marine Center. He is just about finished outfitting a 46-foot cat for us and has done a great job. Enjoy your stay in Fort Lauderdale. Nice out today, but it is supposed to get windy and colder tomorrow.
