Use right-angle UHF connectors for tight places. A good one is the Amphenol 182134. These are very easy to find and work well, with no noticeable attenuation.

Re: Coax Connectors

Update...

I decided to order a 53' RG-213 from DX which will connect to a double ended 4" long female which will pass through the deck and then a right angle male to female PL259. I do not have the space to meet the bend radius requirement. Finally a 15' RG213 and again I have to have a right angle male to female PL259 because there is only 2 1/2" behind the radio.

Now I wait for the parts... and next week the fun starts...

Thanks to everyone for their helpful and sage comments.
