Boost your Wi-Fi Signal with a Beer Can

Easy and inexpensive way to boost your signal:

http://www.tvkim.com/watch/1417/kim-...wi-fi-coverage

Basically creates a poor man's directional antenna. The dowside is you need to keep it 'aimed' at the source, otherwise it will degrade the signal.

Don't need beer, how about soup?

Google "cantenna" or check out alternate cans for use:

If ya really want to boost your signal,,get an old TV satellite dish, and put the Usb Antennae up at the LNA horn position,,adjust for best focal length and angle and your good to go.

Aren't those old satelite dishes a little like the size of a picnic table?

Well if Kim Komando (America's digital goddess!) tells you it works, it must be true.

*sigh*

Seriously guys, for $30 you can buy a proper antenna that will do like $5km.

Yeah, but the point is that now you have a valid excuse for having your beer on board and drinking it. You're not just getting drunk and fat, you're manufacturing spare parts.....
