Next Step: Chartering?

Hi,

New to this site, and this is my first post. Just completed the ASA catamaran bareboat course at BWSS, which was a great experience I would recommend to anyone!

My next step is to maybe do some chartering, but we live in Charlotte, NC and we don't know anyone interested in sailing. I have a wife and 2 young kids (3 & 5) so we really would fit into half a 44 foot catamaran

I REALLY enjoyed the week of sailing in the BVI's, but would like to now take the wife and kids on a 1 week charter to slowly introduce them to cruising/chartering.

Ideally we would like to find another young family to charter with. Obviously we need another family to split the catamaran rental, but I would also feel better about having another trained/capable sailor along.

Any advice on how to do that? Is there a forum on this site or other web site that connects would be charterers/families?

Any other advice about how to sail more with family ... without of course buying a boat right away?
