How's your Dock-N-Go working?

I've been intrigued by these "amazing" systems on display at the boat show and wondered how they were working out in practice. The guy next to me at Hamilton Island marina has had his fail 65 times since he bought it last September. When it fails it actually shuts down the whole engine. He has to switch the engine off at the key, then at the main breaker and then turn it all on again to attempt a restart. Because this is all computer controlled the computer has to re-boot etc so it takes time. I imagine that it's not really what you'd want coming into the marina in a crosswind. He says that his throttle and gears are fly-by-wire as well. ZF and Yanmar have checked out their respective parts and are blaming the high volume French builders wiring effort, which seems to make "Sense". Is Dock-n-Go working well enough to seriously consider or is this guys experience typical?
